Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 4-2 at Selhurst Park to keep pace in the title race.
The Reds opener was scored by the most unlikely of players. Emre Can scored his first goal since February to give his side the lead.
The Germany international of Turkish origin has managed to regain his place in the first-team after having to fight for his spot following a month long injury earlier in the season.
Liverpool are currently third in the league but on equal points with first placed Manchester City and second placed Arsenal – only goal difference separates the three sides.
We took a look at how Liverpool fans reacted to Can’s display on social media.
Can scored his first goal in eight months for Liverpool or in other words…
Emre Can's first goal for @LFC in 23 appearances since netting in the 6-0 win at Aston Villa in February.

It seems Can is held in high esteem by Jurgen Klopp
Emre Can has the same status as Lallana in Klopp's eyes . every time they are available, they are selected. There is not even a debate.

Fair assessment?
#EmreCan needs to be little more careful. He childishly penalized, even gifted a penalty. But scored a goal. Improving. #CRYLIV #LFC

It was not all praise for the man with the finest hair in football.
Emre Can struggling again. Really don't get the hype around him, a reasonable midfield player. Nothing worth screaming about.

There were a few tweeters who thought he looked a little out of shape. Can was out injured for a while so he may still be working towards full match fitness.
I hope Emre Can improves his fitness and movement, I thought he was slow and off the pace noticeably against palace

Then as always there were Can’s admirers – most more concerned with his looks and hair instead of his actual performance on the night.
Emre Can's hair is unreal
