Liverpool Could Be Forced To Decrease £15m Asking Price After Receiving No Offers For Forward, £150,000 Wages Also Stumbling Block, Turkish Giants Interested

Liverpool have not received any formal offers for Daniel Sturridge with interested clubs unwilling to meet the Reds £15m asking price.

Goal report that Sturridge looks certain to leave Anfield this summer after falling out of favor with head coach Jurgen Klopp.

The England forward has just 12 months remaining on his contract but has yet to be offered a new deal.

The 29-year-old scored just three goals last season making a total of five starts.

Sturridge’s loan to West Brom in January was disrupted by a hamstring injury. The striker made just six appearances for the Baggies.

The article reports that Fenerbahce and Sevilla are interested but have been unwilling to match the Reds valuation.

Another stumbling block appears to be his £150,000 a week wages.

Turkish-Football reported on June 22 that Fenerbahce remain keen on Sturridge but have urged Liverpool to reduce their asking price.

Yellow Canaries sporting director Damien Comolli has made enquiries to Liverpool regarding Sturridge.

Comolli remains hopeful that his ties to Liverpool from his time as sporting director at the club will help in striking a deal

Fenerbahce have made signing a striker a priority this summer after selling Fernandao.

The Yellow Canaries will also be without Vincent Janssen who has returned to Tottenham following the end of his loan.
