Liverppool forward Lazar Markovıc has undergone and passed a medical examination with Fenerbahce.
The examination took place earlier today at the Ulus Liv Hospital. The former Benfica man is set to put pent-to-paper on a season long loan with the Yellow Canaries.
Markovic revealed that he is delighted to have joined Fenerbahçe on loan.
“It is great to be here, I have heard so much about the fans and the great support I just cannot wait to play,” Markovic was quoted by NTV Spor as saying.
The 20-year-old forward has become the 11th signing the Yellow Canaries this summer.
Markovic joined the Reds on a £20 million transfer from Benfica last season and still has another four-years left remaining on his contract with the Premier League giants.
The Serbian international is likely to be guaranteed more playing time at the Istanbul giants following the sale of striker Moussa Sow to UAE side Al Ahli for a club record £15 million.
The Yellow Canaries take on newly promoted high-flyers Antalyaspor next in the Turkish Super league.
