Liverpool 'have a good team' & 'great coach' says Ilkay Gundogan

Borussia Dortmund midfielder  Ilkay Gündoğan has hinted at a move to Liverpool during a recent interview with the German tabloid newspaper Bild.

The 25-year-old heaped praise both on the Red’s and their newly appointed manager Jurgen Klopp.

Gündoğan worked under and won the Bundesliga with Klopp while the German manager was at Dortmund.

The Germany international has been linked with a move to Liverpool since the appointment of Klopp.

They have a good team, a great coach,” Gündoğan stated.

Dortmund rejected a bid from Manchester United earlier on in the season according to the German newspaper Express.

Gündoğan has 18 months remaining on his contract with Dortmund and signed a contract extension with the club over the summer.

The Bundesliga giants sit in second place in the league with 35 points in 15 games. Gündoğan has provided five assists and scored two goals in 25 appearances for Dortmund this season.
