Liverpool have not agreed £109m deal or held talks with Barcelona over star player, Turkey star could be set to stay

Liverpool have not agreed a £109 transfer fee with Barcelona over Philippe Coutinho despite reports claiming otherwise.

Goal report that there is no deal on the table, in fact they claim that the Reds did not even hold talks with the delegation Barcelona sent to England.

Per the source, Coutinho is not for sale.

The Reds rubbished reports that Barcelona officials Raul Sanllehi, Oscar Grau and Javier Bordas travelled to Merseyside for negotiations.

Coutinho has been training with the Liverpool side and put on an impressive display in the 3-0 victory over Hertha Berlin in the Audi Cup.

Barcelona could end up missing out on another target, Juventus attacking midfielder Dybala.

One player that will be pleased with Barcelona failing to land their transfer targets is Arda Turan.

The 30-year-old is currently competing for a place as first-choice attacking midfielder to fill the void left by Neymar.

Turan was Neymar’s backup last season and no replacement has been found for the Brazilian since his move to PSG.

As things stand Turan has a chance of joining Messi and Luis Suarez as part of Barca’s new attacking tridente.

The experienced attacking midfielder does have another three-years remaining on his contract and has made it clear he wants to stay at the club.
