Liverpool In Crunch Talks Over €35m World Cup Finalist, Jurgen Klopp Keen On Pushing Transfer Through

Liverpool are locked in crunch talks over Besiktas defender Domagoj Vida according to Fanatik.

The Turkish sports newspaper claims that Jurgen Klopp is keen on completing the transfer.

The figures being quoted are the same as they have been reporting for most of the week.

Fanatik report that the Reds have offered €20m but that Besiktas are demanding €35m.

Vida is almost certain to leave Besiktas after the World Cup according to the report.

The 29-year-old joined the Black Eagles on a free transfer from Dynamo Kiev in January but he has seen his valuation skyrocket after an impressive showing at the World Cup.

Vida has started every game for Croatia alongside his centre-back partner Dejan Lovren.

The star defender scored in the quarter-final clash against Russia in both extra-time and the penalty shootout.

Vida also featured in the victory over England in the semi-finals.

The powerful centre-back is almost certain to start in the final against France.
