Liverpool injury update: Klopp given boost as star midfielder looks ‘fit to feature’

Liverpool midfielder Emre Can was a doubt going into the Bournemouth clash set to be played tonight.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp revealed that Can had bruises all over his body and that he hoped the Germany international of Turkish origin would be fit for the clash.

“Emre has kind of a full body bruise. Everywhere,” Klopp was quoted as saying by the Echo.

“We left him out on Monday because he had back pain, knee pain. Nothing serious, thank God. Really, he has knocks everywhere. I hope he will be fit.”

Liverpool based journalise Jack Lusby provided an update a few hours later when he shared a picture of Can arriving at Anfield looking ‘fit to feature’.

There has been no official confirmation from the club regarding Can’s availability tonight but he is expected to feature.

Can has started the last five games for Liverpool and with captain Jordan Henderson as well as Adam Lallana out injured, Klopp cannot afford to lose another key midfielder.
