Liverpool keeper Loris Karius takes to social media in response to reports that he could be dropped

Liverpool star Loris Karius has taken to social media to share a video of himself pulling off a string of impressive saves during training with Besiktas.

The German keeper is currently on a two-year loan deal with Besiktas from Liverpool.

The 25-year-old has made an impressive start to his career in Turkey but was at fault during his sides defeat the Malmo in the Europa League.

Karis shared the video on his Instagram feed and included the following caption, “putting in that work.”

The post could be viewed as a response to reports in the Turkish press stating that Karius could be dropped by Senol Gunes.

Liverpool replaced Karius over the summer by signing Alisson Becker from AS Roma. Karius’ time at the Merseyside came to an end shortly after a nightmare performance during the UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid.

Besiktas are back in action this weekend in the Turkish Super Lig when they take on Goztepe. Liverpool meanwhile will be hoping to return to winning ways when they face relegation battlers Huddersfield on Saturday afternoon.

The Black Eagles opted to sign Karius on loan after selling Fabri to Fulham. Besiktas have already agreed an option to sign the German keeper from Liverpool.
