Loris Karius Keeps Another Clean Sheet As Besiktas Move Through The Gears

Besiktas beat rivals Bursaspor 2-0 at the Vodafone Park Stadium to move into 3rd place in the Super Lig on Saturday.

Liverpool loanee Loris Karius started in goal for Besiktas and managed to keep his fifth clean sheet in 17 games in the process.

The German keeper made three important saves and dealt well with aerial balls and set-pieces.

Karius was also praised for his distribution and contribution to attacking moves.

Karius responded on his official Twitter account with the following post.

Besiktas have hit an impressive run of form since the turn of the year winning their last two league games.

The Black Eagles managed to close the gap with league leaders Basaksehir to nine points following the victory.
