Loris Karius Marks Besiktas Return With Clean Sheet In 3-0 Victory Over Goztepe At The Vodafone Park

Besiktas beat Goztepe 3-0 at the Vodafone Park stadium in the Super Lig on Friday.

The Black Eagles won their first game this term as a result following their opening day 3-0 defeat away to Sivasspor.

Liverpool loanee Loris Karius started in goal after recovering from injury.

Karius missed the opening game of the season in which the Black Eagles conceded three goals.

The German keeper managed to keep a clean sheet on his first game back putting on an impressive display for the Black-Whites.

Karius made three important saves to prevent Goztepe from scoring.

Twenty-year-old rising star Guven Yalcin opened the scoring for Besiktas in the second minute of additional time at the end of the first half.

Caner Erkin doubled his sides lead on 54 minutes and Adam Llajic wrapped up all three points with his sides third goal on 59 minutes.

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou made his debut after joining from Tottenham this week replacing Tyler Boyd on 61 minutes.
