Liverpool Loanee Karius Set To Start First Derby Clash As Besiktas Take On Fenerbahce

Besiktas take on Fenerbahce at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium knowing that a victory will take them top of the table.

The Yellow Canaries have a great home record and are unbeaten in 12 of their last 13 games at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium against Besiktas.

Fenerbahce have however, got off to a bad start to the season and are currently 13th with just six points from their first five games.

Liverpool loanee Loris Karius passed his first test starting his first European competition game since the Champions League final.

Besiktas beat Sarpsborg 3-1 in the Europa League.

Karius is set to start his most high pressure game yet away to Fenerbahce in the Istanbul derby.

Fellow Premier League loanees Ayew (Swansea) and Slimani (Leicester) are both set to feature for Fenerbahce.

Besiktas will be without Gary Medel who is suspended. Fenerbahce meanwhile are missing Martin Skrtel who is injured. Both teams have an otherwise full strength side to pick from.
