Liverpool Could Lose Wonderkid To Arsenal Or Tottenham, Pro Contract Yet To Be Signed

Liverpool face competition from Arsenal and Tottenham to sign Rhian Brewster on a professional contract according to The Sun.

Per the source,  Brewster has yet to sign his first professional contract with Liverpool despite talks ongoing.

The 18-year-old reportedly wants assurances from the Reds he will be able to challenge for first-team football next season.

Brewster wants first-team football over cashing in on a pro deal.

The report claims that the rising star has reached an agreement in principle with Liverpool but that has not stopped Arsenal and Tottenham ‘checking his availability’.

The Gunners have Eddie Nketiah but reportedly would still be interested in signing Brewster.

Brewster was born in London and left Chelsea for Liverpool.

The youngster rejected the chance to move to Germany following interest from Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.

Additionally Barcelona, Juventus and Monaco have also been linked with the Liverpool starlet.

The latest Sun article conflicts with the Daily Mirror claiming that Brewster has agreed a new five-year deal to stay at Liverpool.

A source close to the player has revealed to Turkish-Football that the Reds wonder-kid has a Turkish mother and has the option to represent the Crescent-Stars at senior level.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp did promote him to the first-team squad earlier this season but injury ruled the Reds starlet out of the team for much of the campaign.
