Liverpool Make €18m Bid For World Cup Star But Will Have To Increase Offer, Everton, Fulham & West Ham Also Want Super Lig Ace

Liverpool have made an €18 million offer for Besiktas defender Domagoj Vida according to Bein Sports.

Per the source, the Black Eagles have made it clear the Reds will have to increase their bid if they want to sign the defender this summer.

The Super Lig based outfit reportedly rejected the offer.

Jurgen Klopp is keen on signing the centre-back who is set to star alongside Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren in the World Cup semi-final against England tonight.

Everton, Fulham and West Ham are also in the race for the 29-year-old.

Vida has attracted widespread interest after an impressive run of form in the World Cup.

There are daily stories in the Turkish media claiming new offers have been made for the Besiktas man.

The Black Eagles are expected to consider offers for Vida once Croatia’s World Cup campaign is over.

Vida was only signed in January as a free transfer from Dynamo Kiev and does have another four-years remaining on his contract.

The club ideally want to keep the defender on over the summer but are tempted by some of the numbers being thrown around.

Turkish-Football contacted Besiktas regarding Vida and were informed that there have been offers, although the fees were not disclosed.
