Manchester City took a major step towards booking a place in the Champions League quarter-finals after beating Basel 4-0 in Switzerland.
Ilkay Gundogan was the star of the show scoring the opening goal and wrapping up a convincing win with a stunning long-range effort.
The midfielder of Turkish origin ended up making the UEFA Champions League Fantasy Team of the Week.
Gundogan’s brace earned him 12 points, only Liverpool forward Sadio Mane managed a higher score of 14 points.
Mane scored a hat-trick in the Reds 5-0 away win over Porto.
Firmino who also scored made the team as did James Milner who provided an assist and Alexander-Arnold.
Mohamed Salah did not make the cut despite scoring.
Liverpool and City were the highest represented sides in the team.
The Citizens also had four names in the side, Gundogan, Bernardo Silva, Otamendi and Edersen in goal.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcelo were the only non-Premier League players in the team.
The Real Madrid duo put on stunning performances as the Spanish giants came from behind to beat PSG 3-1.
