Fenerbahce winger Luis Nani is on the verge of joining Valencia according to Haberturk football editor Faik Çetiner.
Yellow Canaries president Aziz Yıldırım held an iftar meal where Çetiner was present. The Fenerbahce boss was reported to have confirmed that Valencia were closest to signing the Portuguese international.
Valencia are however, expected to face competition from Liverpool and Everton according to Fanatik.
Manchester United meanwhile understood to have agreed personal terms with Nani according to Turkish media outlet DHA.
Nani is currently has an €8.5 million clause but there is confusion over whether the option will only run until the end of the month.
The Portuguese international’s agent Lucas Brascherini recently confirmed that Nani is considering leaving Fenerbahce after Euro 2016.
Nani is reported to be unhappy at Fenerbahce after a falling out with head coach Vitor Pereira.
The 29-year-old winger is not expected to make a decision on his next move until after the European Championships.
“Nani will make a decision on his future once he is back but he is looking to leave Fenerbahce,” Brascherini was quoted as saying by AS.
Portugal take on Poland next in the Euro 2016 quarter-finals and Nani is expected to start having already scored two goals in France this summer.
