Liverpool Midfielder Nears Anfield Exit After Holding Talks With Cardiff City, Turkish Giants Plan To Hijack Move

Galatasaray face competition for Liverpool midfielder Marjo Grujic from Cardiff City.

The BBC report that the Welsh giants have held talks with Liverpool about re-signing Grujic on loan.

Grujic played for Cardiff on loan last season after joining on a temporary move in January.

The 22-year-old made 14 appearances in all competitions helping the team achieve promotion to the Premier League.

Liverpool are reportedly to be open to the idea of Grujic returning to the Cardiff City Stadium for a second spell.

The transfer rests on whether Grujic wants to return.

Turkish sports newspaper Fotomac meanwhile report that Liverpool have given Galatasaray the green light for Grujic.

Per the source, the Reds want £10 million for Grujic, a fee the Super Lig champions may struggle with due to Financial Fair Play.

Galatasaray want Grujic on a permanent move but would also take him on a loan.

Grujic is set to make a decision on his future now that Serbia have been eliminated from the World Cup.

The young midfielder was part of the Serbia national team 23-man squad but did not make a single appearance.
