Midfielder of Turkish origin Emre Can will be pleased to know Liverpool moved into 6th place overall after eliminating Porto from the competition.

The Reds beat Porto 5-0 on aggregate over the two legs, with a 5-0 win in Portugal followed by a goalless draw at Anfield.

The highest ranking team as far as players of Turkish origin are concerned is Manchester City.
