Liverpool outcast Lazar Markovic has been linked with a move to Russia.
Markovic has emerged as a target for Lokomotiv Moscow after being the green light to leave according to the Telegraph.
Per the source, Lokomotiv are exploring the possibility of becoming the latest loan club for the Serbia international.
Markovic was linked with a loan move this summer but ended up staying put at Liverpool where he has failed to make a single appearance in all competitions.
It is clear that Jurgen Klopp has no plans for the 23-year-old.
Markovic joined Liverpool for £20 million from Benfica in 2014 but has failed to settle in and has spent the last two years on loan at Fenerbahce, Sporting Lisbon and Hull City.

A source close to Fenerbahce revealed to Turkish-Football that the club are also interested in a loan move.
Markovic is no stranger to Fenerbahce having previously enjoyed a loan stint at the club.
The Istanbul giants are expected to enter direct talks with Liverpool over a loan move.
A temporary move could include a buyout clause option.
Fenerbahce have made strengthening their wide attacking position a priority in January.
The Yellow Canaries are currently three points behind league leaders Basaksehir in the Super Lig.
Markovic became a fan favorite during his first stint at Fenerbahce but had his campaign restricted with injuries.
