Liverpool predicted lineup to face Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League – Klopp facing selection problems in midfield

Liverpool already have one foot in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League following their emphatic 3-0 win over Man City in the first leg last week.

Jurgen Klopp’s side just need to avoid a heavy defeat tonight to ensure their passage to the next round.

However, the German tactician has told his side to brace themselves for a ‘thunderstorm‘ tonight.

Klopp will be unable to call upon Jordan Henderson who is ruled out with a suspension while his natural replacement Emre Can is sidelined with a back injury.

The 24-year-old has missed Liverpool’s last three games and may have already played his last game for the Reds. Can’s contract with Liverpool expires in the summer.

Meanwhile, defender Joel Matip miss the rest of the season and requires thigh surgery.

Both left backs Alberto Moreno and Andrew Robertson are doubts for tonight’s fixture.

In more positive news for Klopp, star forward Mo Salah has returned to full training and is expected to start tonight.
