Liverpool probable line-up vs Atletico Madrid – Jurgen Klopp set to make changes while Fernando Torres could feature against his former club

Liverpool probable line-up vs Atletico Madrid – Jurgen Klopp set to make changes while Fernando Torres could feature against his former club

Liverpool take on the La Liga giants Atletico Madrid in the Audi Cup final tonight. The game will be played at Allianz Arena and kick-off is scheduled for 19:30 (GMT).

Jurgen Klopp’s side were in devastating form last night when they swept aside Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich. The Reds recorded a 3-0 victory with goals from Sadio Mane, Mo Salah and Daniel Sturridge.

The likes of Emre Can, Philippe Coutinho, Mane and Salah are expected to be rested by Klopp after playing last night. Meanwhile, Sturridge will miss the game after coming off with a thigh injury against Bayern.

Can has under 12 months remaining on his contract with Liverpool however, Klopp has stated that he has no intention of selling his star midfielder this summer.

Former Liverpool star Fernando Torres could face his former side tonight. The Spain international is however unlikely to start after playing against Napoli yesterday.
