Liverpool refuse to sell Emre Can to Euro Giants for £23m, despite £100k contract talks stalling
Liverpool have told their star midfielder Emre Can that he will not be leaving this summer.
The 23-year-old currently has under 12-months remaining on his contract with the Reds.
According to the Mirror, Juventus are lining up a £23 million offer for the Germany international. Per the source, the contract stand-off between Liverpool and Can has shown no sign of being resolved.
The Italian outlet Tuttosport claim that Juve view Can as a long-term replacement for Sami Khedira.

The former Bayer Leverkusen star is understood to be demanding £100,000 per-week.
However, the Mirror goes onto say that Liverpool are prepared to let Can go for free next summer rather than sell off one of Jurgen Klopp’s top performers.
The Reds are also subject to a big-money bid from Barcelona for their star playmaker Philippe Coutinho.
Can played the full 90 minutes during Liverpool’s 3-3 draw with Watford FC last weekend.
Liverpool take on Bundesliga side Hoffenheim in the UEFA Champions League qualification round on Tuesday.
Give him 100,000 a week he’s only young and and has plenty to offer, “WHY” would we run his contract down and let him leave for free?
