Liverpool reveal 25-man squad ahead of FC Porto clash, Klopp receives injury boost

Liverpool have revealed their 25-man squad which Jurgen Klopp has take to Portugal’s capital city Lisbon for their upcoming UEFA Champions League clash.

The Reds take on Portuguese giants FC Porto in the last-16 first-leg. The clash will be played at the Estadio do Dragao while kick-off is scheduled for 19:45 (GMT).

Liverpool departed from the John Lennon Airport yesterday afternoon and arrived in Portugal last night.

Klopp received a boost in defence as Joe Gomez has made the trip after missing Liverpool’s last two games due to injury.

Emre Can also travelled with the rest of the squad despite being unavailable for selection.

The Germany international picked up a suspension in Liverpool’s final group stage game ruling him out of tonight’s encounter.

Can has entered the final four months of his Liverpool contract and could end up leaving the Merseyside based club for free in the summer.
