Liverpool Reveal Squad Ahead Of Champions League Final – Klopp Given Major Injury Boost

Liverpool have revealed their squad ahead of the Champions League final against Real Madrid on Saturday 25 May in Kiev, Ukraine.

Jurgen Klopp has named a 24-man travelling squad for the Reds clash against the Spanish giants.

Liverpool have arrived in Kiev to being the final stage of their preparations before the game.

There was a surprise inclusion in the squad as Emre Can also made the trip.

The midfielder of Turkish origin has not played since mid-March after suffering a back injury during the 5-0 victory over Watford.

Can was a major doubt as he did not make the Germany national team World Cup squad.

The latest development comes as a surprise but it is unlikely that he starts considering how long he has been out of action.

James Milner was a doubt but also made the team.

The game could be Can’s last for the Reds as he will be a free agent unless he signs a new deal.

The 24-year-old has been closely linked with a move to Juventus but has yet to confirm the move himself.

The Reds will train at the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium, the venue for the final, on Friday evening.
