Liverpool Set To Scout £35.5m Brazil International Star In Turkey

Besiktas take on Alanyaspor at the Vodafone Park Stadium on Saturday in their first game back after the international break.

Liverpool target Anderson Talisca will be the man head coach Senol Gunes turns to with Ricardo Quaresma out.

The Reds have been closely linked with the Brazil international in the Portuguese and Turkish media.

A source close to Besiktas revealed to Turkish-Football that Liverpool are expected to send club officials to keep tabs on Talisca.

Liverpool have been among several clubs regularly sending scouts to Besiktas games.

Manchester United have also been linked with Talisca as have Italian giants Roma.

“It’s obvious that I consider Talisca a strong player,” Monchi said.

“He’s an interesting and promising player, every sporting director in the world knows him and thinks he’s a good player.

“As things stand though we haven’t made a move for him.”

Talisca has 16 goals and four assists in all competitions this season.

Besiktas will be without Quaresma who is suspended as are Gary Medel and Adriano.

Five players are on the verge of a suspension, Tolgay, Oğuzhan, Caner, Atiba and Tosic will miss the next game if they pick up a yellow card.
