Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can’s future at the Merseyside based club is still cast in doubt after failing to put pen-to-paper on a new deal.
Can has entered the final three months of his contract with Liverpool and could end up leaving the club for free in the summer.
Serie A giants Juventus have been closely linked with a move for the 24-year-old in recent months.
According to the Italian outlet TMW, Can is close to agreeing terms with Juventus.
Per the source, talks between Juventus and Emre Can’s representatives have been ongoing and are approaching its final stages.
TWM goes onto state that the two camps just has a few more clauses to agree, but a deal should be completed in the next two weeks.
Emre Can was sidelined for Liverpool’s UEFA Champions League win over Manchester City due to a back injury. The Germany international could even end up missing the rest of the season.
