Emre Can, Yunus Malli and Kerem Demirbay have all been included in Germany U21’s squad which will participate in the 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.
Germany are one of the favourites to win the competitions with the likes of Marc Andre Ter Stegen, Max Meyer, Kevin Volland and Phillip Hofmann at their disposal.
Can is expected to be used as a midfielder in the Germany side. The 21-year-old was born in Germany into a Turkish family as is eligible to represent both his country of birth and the Crescent-Stars at international level.
The Liverpool star has featured as a defender in Reds boss Brendan Rodgers back-three and as a right-back for most of the season.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man made 40 appearances in all competitions in his first season for Liverpool.
Can is expected to move into his preferred central midfield role next season with captain Steven Gerrard set to leave the club for the MLS.
