Liverpool Star Reveals He’s Ready To Play For ‘A Very Big Club Next Season’ In Latest Hint Over Future

Emre Can continues to duck and dive questions over his future but the mask is starting to drop.

Can has just a few months left on his contract but has yet to sign an extension deal.

The midfielder of Turkish origin will be a free agent over the summer unless he reaches an agreement with Liverpool.

The 24-year-old has refused to confirm whether he will leave or stay.

Can did however, drop a few hints in his latest interview with German publication Sports Bild.

The star midfielder appeared to single our five leagues he is keen on… low and behold they were the top five leagues so no surprise there.

Can also stated that he is confident enough to say he has the quality to play for a ‘very big club’ next season. Interpret that as you may! does he mean another club or that the Reds are the big team?

“I have the self-confidence to say that my qualities are sufficient to play in a very big club next season,” Can said in the interview.

“I’m doing great in England. Here it is is physical and that suits me. The Spanish league is also attractive. The same applies to Germany, where tactics are concerned, and Italy, which has recently caught up.

“Incidentally, the same applies to France, this league has now established itself as one of the best in Europe. Therefore, I do not want to exclude anything because I do not know what I will do from summer. My goal is to play a lot, more often, and to be a leader.”

To be fair he is a first-choice player at Liverpool and has received the captains armband a few times.

What more does he want from Jurgen Klopp?

Can also stated that the Premier League pays higher than the Bundesliga. Perhaps singling that other leagues can’t afford him? At this stage who knows! The contract saga will continue to drag on.

“The Premier League has the power to spend more money on players than the Bundesliga. This is very, very important for players,” he added.
