Liverpool Star Travels To Germany For Treatment After Injury Blow

Liverpool star Emre Can is not expected to feature for the rest of the season as a result of his back injury.

The midfielder of Turkish origin could return in time for the Champions League final in Kiev if of course, the Reds make it that far.

Can has traveled to Germany to be treated on his back problem, accompanied in Frankfurt by a member of Liverpool’s medical team according to the Telegraph.

Per the source, Juventus have issued an ultimatum to Can, insisting he makes a decision by the end of the week.

Can has however, suggested he will not make a final decision until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old may, therefore, have played his last game for the Reds.

The midfielder has just a few months remaining on his current contract and will be a free agent unless he signs a new deal.

Can has been linked with a move to Juventus who have made no secret of their desire to sign the Liverpool star.

The Reds could however, still end up keeping Can at Anfield if he does sign a new agreement.

The Germany international has scored a career high six-goals this campaign.
