Liverpool Star On Verge Of Exit As Shirt Number For Next Club Reportedly Already Picked

Liverpool midfielder Emre Can looks like he will be leaving Anfield for Juventus.

Tuttosport claim that Can has even picked his shirt number.

Per the source, the midfielder of Turkish origin will wear the No 23 shirt next season for the Italian giants.

Can would keep his current shirt number if the deal goes ahead as planned with Szczesny who currently occupies the number at Juventus taking Gigi Buffon’s No 1 jersey for the 2018-19 campaign.

The report claims that Can will arrive in Italy tomorrow or the day after to complete his move.

Can is set to be a free agent once his contract with Liverpool runs out.

At this stage it looks almost certain that he will not play for the Reds next season.

Can missed a large portion of the second half of the season after picking up an injury in mid-March against Watford.

The 24-year-old did recover in time for the Champions League final against Real Madrid, making a brief appearance off the bench.

Liverpool agreed a £39 million deal for Monaco midfielder Fabinho according to the BBC.

Per the source, the midfielder is viewed as a replacement for Can.

Can made 167 appearances for Liverpool since joining from Bayer Leverkusen on a €12 million move in 2014.
