Emre Can’s summer holiday has come to an end as he joined the Germany national team squad ahead of Euro 2016.
The 22-year-old has been included in Joachim Löw’s provisional squad and is expected to be included in the 23 man squad which will travel to France this summer.
Can uploaded an image of himself alongside his Germany national teammates along with the caption, “Arrived in Ascona.”
Can was recently named in the Europa League Team of the Season.
The Germany international played a starring role in the Reds midfield helping his side progress to the final where they were eventually beat 3-1 by Sevilla in Switzerland.
Can was thought to have ended his season after picking up an ankle injury but returned sooner than expected to put in an impressive display against Villarreal in the second-leg semi final tie.
Germany take on Slovakia in an international friendly next weekend.
