Liverpool’s Emre Can has stated that he remaining focused ahead of Germany’s clash with Slovakia in Euro 2016.
The 22-year-old uploaded a picture of himself in the gym along with the caption, “Training in the gym #Stayfocused.”
Can is yet to make an appearance for Germany after being left on the bench for all three of the World Champion’s group stage games.
Emre Can is one of eight Germany born ethnic Turks in the tournament. Mesut Ozil is the other Germany international of Turkish origin while Turkey has six Germany born players.
Joachim Low’s side finished top of Group C with seven points from three games.
Germany will take on Slovakia in the Euro 2016 second round at Grand Stade Lille Métropole on Sunday. The Liverpool midfielder is once again expected to start on the bench as has done in all three group games so far in the tournament.
