Besiktas have been priced out of a move for Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet according to a report in The Sun.
The daily newspaper states that the Turkish Giants pulled out of the race to sign the Belgium International after seeing Liverpool’s asking price.
Besiktas are being monitored by UEFA for financial fair play and need to be careful with their spending after missing out on Champions League football.
The Sun goes onto state that Serie A giants Napoli have also been linked with a move for Mignolet.
The 30-year-old has been linked with a move away from Liverpool after losing his place in the starting XI to Loris Karius last season. Mignolet has fallen further down the pecking order at Liverpool following the arrival of Alisson from AS Roma over the summer.
