Liverpool Starlet Snubs Euro Giants, Arsenal & Tottenham To Sign Long-Term Deal

Rhian Brewster has committed his long-term future to Liverpool FC by signing a professional contract deal with the Premier League giants.

The Reds confirmed on their official website that Brewster will be part of the senior team for the 2018-19 season once he recovers from injury.

Brewster told Liverpoolfc.com: “It feels great. I’ve wanted to do this for a very long time now and I think it’s the right moment for me and my family. I’m looking forward to getting back fit and making some appearances.

“Since I got here the club has been amazing to me and treated me like family. It seems like I’ve been here my whole life, to be honest. It’s coming up to my fifth season now. I [still] remember my first training session. It’s amazing and I can’t wait to get started.”

PSG, Juventus, Arsenal and Tottenham had been linked with trying to snap Brewster up on a pro-contract according to The Sun.

A source close to the player revealed to Turkish-Football that Brewster did receive interest from several clubs but his priority was always to stay at Liverpool.

Brewster won the U17 World Cup with England last year but a little-known fact is that he is also eligible to represent Turkey.

Should the forward ever end up in the Super Lig he would count as a domestic player due to having a Turkish mother.

The young striker was top scorer at the U17 World Cup scoring eight goals last October, including one in the final.
