Liverpool striker offered to Super Lig giants in hope of transfer deadline day deal

Liverpool striker Danny Ings has been offered to Super Lig giants Fenerbahce as part of a transfer deadline day deal according to reports in Turkey.

Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik report that Ings representatives have offered their client to the Yellow Canaries.

Per the source, Ings will sign for Fenerbahce on transfer deadline day – which is on September 8.

The Istanbul giants are however, concerned with Ings’ injury record.

Fenerbahce want to run a medical before making a decision on whether to pursue the transfer.

The Canaries are currently 6th in the league after three games having drawn twice and won once.

Ings would join former Premier League strikers Robin van Persie and Roberto Soldado if the move were to go ahead.

The 25-year-old is not expected to be part of Reds boss Jurgen Klopp’s plans this season.

The German manager left Ings out of the Liverpool Champions League squad and has not given him any playing time this season.
