Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has been offered to Besiktas according to his agent Mino Raiola.

The Express [via Fotomac] quote Raiola as saying: “I offered (Balotelli) to Besiktas and I’m waiting for the response,” Raiola is quoted as saying.

“I believe they responded positively. Besiktas’ president said earlier that the deal with the Italian player (could happen).

“With further talks I see the possibility of this transfer, 100 per cent.”

Balotelli has been closely linked with a move to Turkey and Galatasaray were also reported to have made a loan offer.

The Italian international spent last season on loan at AC Milan scoring three goals and providing one assist in 23 appearances.

Liverpool are expected to part ways with the 25-year-old striker over the summer transfer window.

Besiktas are preparing for the possibility of star striker Mario Gomez leaving after Euro 2016. The Germany intentional played a key role in the Black Eagles title run scoring 28 goals and getting back into the national team in the process.

Gomez is however, on loan at Besiktas and the Istanbul giants have yet to secure a permanent deal with the prolific striker.

Besiktas are locked in talks with Fiorentina but are keeping their options open if they fail to reach an agreement.

The Black Eagles won the league title last season and will compete in the Champions League.

Gomez is currently on international duty with Germany but has yet to make an appearance in Euro 2016.
