The Transfer window may have wrapped up a little over a month ago, however, speculation linking Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can with a move away have failed to cease.
Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport have been rampant with reports linking Can with a move to Juventus in recent days.
The Italian outlet’s latest report states that Juventus are planning further talks with Emre Can’s representatives.
Juventus have been closely linked with Can since the summer transfer window.
Can has under four months remaining on his contract with the Reds and could end up leaving the Merseyside based club for free in the Summer.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have also been linked with Can in recent weeks.
Despite the on-going contract saga, manager Jurgen Klopp has continued to deploy Emre Can in his starting eleven. The 24-year-old scored his side’s opening goal during Liverpool’s 4-1 win over West Ham on Saturday.
Liverpool will be hoping to extend their winning run when they host Newcastle United at Anfield.
