Liverpool team news:

The Red have not suffered any fresh injuries in the lead up to night’s clash.

£75 million record-signing Virgil van Dijk is set to make his first appearance in the UEFA Champions League for the club.

However, star midfielder Emre Can will be unavailable for selection tonight after picking up a suspension in Liverpool’s final group stage game.

Klopp received a boost after defender Joe Gomez travelled with the rest squad to Portugal after missing the Reds last two games with a knee injury.

Meanwhile, Nethanial Clyne remains on the sidelines with a long-term back injury.
