The Telegraph report that Gomez has made a recovery sooner than expected and could even make the trip against West Bromwich Alboin before the game.
Per the source, Gomez is hoping to be fit before the West Broma game after recovering from an ankle injury which has ruled him out for the past three weeks.
Gomez has missed the Reds last five games but is now expected to be ready in time for the Roma clash.

Additionally, Dejan Lovren is also likely to return after suffering a scare against Bournemouth.
Lovren had to limp off in the closing stages against Bournemouth with a tight groin.
