Liverpool star midifelder Emre Can suffered an injury while on international duty. The 24-year-old featured during Germany’s 1-1 draw with Spain last week.
The combative midfielder was initially feared to be sidelined for weeks, however, according to the Liverpool Echo, the Reds are hopeful that Can could feature against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Can was assessed by medical staff at Melwood on Monday after returning early from Germany. Meanwhile, Joe Gomez will miss this weekend’s trip to Selhurst Park.
