Liverpool will be desperate to return to winning ways after suffering two shock defeats in a row.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were defeated by bottom-of-the-table Swansea City last week and were eliminated from the FA Cup by West Brom on Saturday.

The German tactician knows another defeat could see them slip out of the top four.

Meanwhile, Huddersfield come into the game after suffering three defeats in a row.

Liverpool team news:

Jurgen Klopp is expected to make changes to his starting eleven following the recent run of poor results.

Adam Lallana was dealt an injury blow last week and is ruled out for clash against Huddersfield and possibly Tottenham.

Nathaniel Clyne is also ruled out as he continues his recovery from a back injury.

Daniel Sturridge and Ragnor Klavan are both injury doubts heading into tomorrow’s clash.

Meanwhile, Emre Can – who was named as captain for Liverpool’s last two games – is available for selection. Klopp may, however, opt to field Jordan Henderson in his place.
