Liverpool crushed Manchester City 3-0 in the Champions League quarter-final first-leg on Wednesday at Anfield stadium.
The Reds stretched their unbeaten home run against the visitors to 18 games in the process.
The Merseyside based outfit managed to do so without star man Emre Can.
The midfielder of Turkish origin was ruled out with a back problem he picked up in the 5-0 victory over Watford.
Can has subsequently missed four games in all competitions despite Jurgen Klopp claiming at the time that it was not a serious injury.
Klopp did however, have some good news ahead of the derby against Everton at Goodison Park.
The German managed revealed Can will be ready for Everton or at the very least for the return-leg against City on Tuesday.

Klopp said: “He has a training session this afternoon [Tuesday], but even when we could need him really, we cannot rush it. That’s how it is.
“I’m always open to wait for better news but I don’t expect it, to be 100 per cent honest. Maybe then Everton or Tuesday. It should not be too long.”
Liverpool will have cover if the 24-year-old fails to make it back in time for the derby but Klopp will be praying he returns before the City clash as captain Jordan Henderson is out suspended.
Henderson picked up a one-match ban after an accumulation of yellow cards in the Champions League.
