Liverpool Team News: Klopp Suffers Injury Blow Ahead Of Roma Clash

Liverpool head to Italy for the Champions League semi-final second-leg tie against Roma having won the first-leg by a 5-2 scoreline.

The Reds have the advantage heading into the return-leg however, Roma did manage to overcome three goals against Barcelona in the quarter-finals.

Roma eliminated the La Liga leaders from the tournament despite losing the first-leg 4-1 in Spain.

The Reds cannot afford to underestimate Roma but will be without two star names in the midfield.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been ruled out for the season with a knee injury he picked up against Roma.

Emre Can is also out with a back problem.

The midfielder of Turkish origin is not expected back until the time of the final.

The Reds are also without Adam Lallana, Joel Matip. Meanwhile, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joseph Gomez and captain Jordan Henderson all picked up knocks at the weekend but could recover in time for the Roma game.

Jurgen Klopp did receive some good news on the injury from as Sadio Mane is set to return after missing the draw against Stoke at Anfield on Saturday.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dejan Lovren and James Milner will have to be careful not to pick up another yellow-card as it would result in an automatic suspension.
