Liverpool team news: Star midfielder Jordan Henderson misses training, Emre Can likely to feature against Man City
Liverpool continued preparations for their Premier League clash against Manchester City scheduled to go ahead on the weekend with a team training session on Wednesday 15 March.
Reds captain Jordan Henderson was not present at training and is not expected to feature against City due to a foot injury which has seen him miss the past three games.
Germany international of Turkish origin Emre Can is likely to keep his place in the team if Henderson does not recover in time.
Can scored the winning goal against Burnley last week and starred in the 3-1 victory over Arsenal the previous week.

There was however, some good news on the injury front. Roberto Firmino was a doubt for the City game but he trained yesterday.
The Brazilian attacking midfielder was also spotted with fitness coach Andreas Kornmayer during the training session.
Firminho missed the 2-1 victory over Burnley on Sunday after picking up an injury against Arsenal the week before.
The 25-year-old has four days to return to full match fitness before the City game.
In other Liverpool team news Dejan Lovren, who played for the U23s against Chelsea on Monday is not expected to return to the starting lineup yet.
