Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will be unable to call upon star winger Sadio Mane. The Senegal international has been ruled out with an injury.

Senegal manager Aliou Cisse had claimed that Mane will return to training next week however, Klopp has insisted that the winger hasn’t even returned to light training.

“Sadio is still in rehab, indoor, he was not even on any exercise outside. That’s the situation at the moment,” Klopp was quoted as saying by the Echo.

Captain Jordan Henderson is set for a recall after being rested for the 7-0 Champions League victory over Maribor.

Star midfielder Emre Can is also expected to retain in place Liverpool’s midfield following an impressive run of form.
