Liverpool transfer news: Fenerbahce table late bid for £20m star forward
Liverpool forward Lazar Markovic has been linked with a move away from Anfield this summer.
Despite the Premier League transfer window slamming shut last week, the Serbia international can still join a Turkish Super Lig club.
According to the Turkish outlet Turkiye, Istanbul giants Fenerbahce have tabled an offer for Liverpool’s Markovic.
Per the source, Fenerbahce are keen to sign Markovic on a season-long loan deal. The Yellow Canaries also want an option to buy included in the deal.
Turkish clubs are allowed to make signings up until September 8.

The Serbia international made the move to Liverpool for a lofty £20 million from Benfica back in 2014. However, the 23-year-old has failed to live up to expectations.
Markovic has spent the last three seasons out on loan at Fenerbahce, Sporting Lisbon and Hull City.
The forward has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield following the signings of Mohamed Salah from Roma and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal.
