Liverpool transfer news: No Juve deal for in-form star midfielder, new contract yet to be agreed
Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can has been attracting attention from abroad following an impressive start to the season.
The 23-year-old helped German lift the Confederations Cup in Russia last month and scored a brace against Hoffenheim to secure the Reds place in the UEFA Champions League.
Can also played a starring role for Liverpool during their 4-0 victory over their title rivals Arsenal last weekend.
Reports recently surfaced (Express) which stated that Serie A giants Juventus had agreed personal terms with Can and that they will sign the Germany international for free next summer.

However, according to Goal.com, Juventus have denied that an agreement is in place with Liverpool midfielder Can over a transfer next summer.
Can has under 12-months left on his contract with the Merseyside based club. If Liverpool are unable to strike a new deal with the 23-year-old, he will be able to walk out for free.
Liverpool boss recently stated that talks are ongoing with Can but admitted that the situation is ‘not perfect.’
“We are still in talks [with Can]. Do I think it is too cool that we didn’t fix it so far? No, to be honest. But it is all ok at the moment and we have to take it like this,” Klopp was quoted as saying by the Independent.
The Germany international registered three assists and five goals in 40 appearances for Liverpool last season.
