Liverpool v Brighton – Confirmed lineups – Karius nears Besiktas move after being dropped by Jurgen Klopp

Loris Karius appears to be on the verge of a Liverpool exit after being left out of Jurgen Klopp’s matchday squad.

The Reds take on Brighton today as they took to extend their winning run of games.

Klopp has decided to leave Karius out of the 18-man team while Simon Mignolet has returned to the fold.

The Germany u21 has been closely linked with a move to the Turkish Super Lig giants Besiktas over the past week.

We recently reported that Karius is set to join Besiktas on a two-year loan deal fro £2.5 million. The price will rise to £9.5m if Karius plays more than 50 percent of games during the loan period.

Besiktas are keen on signing a new goalkeeper before the transfer window in Turkey slams shut on September 1. The Black Eagles offloaded their former No.1 keeper Fabri to Fulham earlier this month.
