Liverpool will be looking to secure their passage to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League when they take on FC Porto tonight.

The Reds already have one foot firmly in the next round following their emphatic 5-0 win over Porto at the Estadio do Dragao stadium a fortnight ago.

With Sunday’s clash with Manchester United on the horizon, manager Jurgen Klopp may opt to rotate his squad.

Liverpool come into tonight’s clash following a comfortable 2-0 win over Newcastle United.

Star midfielder Emre Can played the full 90 minutes and managed to avoid picking up a yellow-card suspension which means he is available for the weekend clash.

Simon Mignolet is expected to start ahead of Karius while Virgil van Dijk, Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah are set to be rested.

Liverpool are unbeaten at Anfield in the UEFA Champions League this season.
