Liverpool take on Tottenham in arguably the most highly anticipated Tuesday night game in the EFL Cup.

The Reds are in great form and joined Arsenal as well as Manchester City at the top of the table over the weekend after beating West Brom.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has made a few changes to the side that beat West Brom 2-1 over the weekend with Germany international of Turkish origin Emre Can being relegated to the bench alongside Adam Lallana and Sadio Mane.

Sturridge will start upfront and Wijnaldum has returned to the starting line-up for the first time since picking up an injury.

Klopp will has given the likes of Alexander-Arnold, Ejaria, Stewart, Grujic and goalkeeper Simon Mignolet rare starts.

Tottenham boss Pochettino has also made a few changes to his strongest starting line-up giving the likes of Lamela and Vertonghen a rest – but including them both on the bench going into the clash.
