Liverpool v Tottenham – Probable lineups – Star midfielder ruled out for Reds, £75m January signing could start

Liverpool will be looking to extend their winning run when they take on Tottenham in the Premier League today.

The blockbuster fixture takes place at Anfield stadium while kick-off is scheduled for 16:30 (GMT).

The Reds come into the clash with four wins in their last five games and know a victory against Spurs can solidify their place in the top-four.

However, Tottenham also come into tonight’s encounter in good form following a 2-0 win over Manchester United last weekend. A win for Mauricio Pochettino’s side will see them overtake the Reds and move into the top four.

Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can is expected to keep his place in Jurgen Klopp’s starting eleven despite the on-going transfer saga. Can has under four months left on his contract and could end up leaving the club for free in the summer.
